What are you most proud of having accomplished in 2019?
Surviving the year that was!
What's the last movie you saw? TV show?
I finally got around to watching Joker and was blown away by Joaquin Phoenix's performance. The film was so difficult to watch both because of the violence but, also, because of the tragic loneliness of the protagonist. Who, at some point in their life, hasn't felt disassociated, fearful and lonely? I watch a lot of television- a lot. All of it while I'm trying to get my cardio in every morning. I just finished watching Season 3 of The Crown. It continues to be an entertaining and compelling lesson in contemporary history.
What are you most excited about in the next 12 months?
The team and I have a renewed excitement and energy about the real estate industry and our role in the ever-changing market. It's based on a structured approach and commitment to honoring our relationship with clients. What could be better than continually reaffirming and growing friendships- and, getting paid to do so?
Any trips planned for 2020?
I just spent two weeks on safari in Kenya and it was amazing. One of the best trips that I've ever taken. The ability to interact with African wildlife in such proximity is hard to describe other than to say that the memories that we created will remain with me until my dying days! Next up? Either Egypt or a return trip to the Galapagos.
What are your goals for this coming year, both personally and professionally?
I'm looking forward to engaging some of our new strategies to turbo-charge our sales back to the volume that we enjoyed before local inventory started to dry up a couple of years ago. Personally, I'm anxious to reclaim my yoga practice after a challenging year of some physical setbacks!
