The Big Reveal!

You’ve probably already noticed that our blog looks very different today. We’ve been busy over the past few months putting together our brand new website, with lots of features that I’m excited to unveil!

The launch of the new site is perfectly timed, too. I recently encouraged those of you who are ready to buy to jump into the market soon—winter is about to let go of its cold snap (We can hope!) and the market is gearing up for a busy spring. With an estimated 94% of buyers searching for homes online, what better time to unveil a new website with lots of great tools to get you started?

Late last year, we took our website plans to Dixon Schwabl, an advertising and marketing agency with big ideas and a culture much like our own—smart, energized and full of people who love to do great work. Together, we dove into building a brand new And, as it turns out, building a website is a lot like building a house. It all started with a list of must-haves: a one-stop shop for all of your real estate needs, better customer service, an excellent search feature,  and a simple, streamlined look that makes it easy to find what you’re looking for. Here are just a few of the features you’ll find on our new site:

  • IDX search technology—Simply put, this means our listings are constantly updated, making sure that what you find on our website is current and accurate. Although property information is readily available on the Web, national sites like Zillow and Trulia are often outdated, meaning the house you fall in love with may already be off the market! We’ve fixed that problem with a search feature that updates constantly throughout the day.
  • A personal connection—Check out our team bios and get to know the people who will help you buy or sell your home. They know it’s a big and often emotional investment, and they’re ready to help. Make sure you stop by the “Our Culture” page, too, for a real look at their unique personalities!
  • Listings—IDX lets you search for properties across the region, but we also showcase our own listings. In the coming weeks, I’ll also be telling the stories behind some of those properties on this blog.
  • Clean, quality and easy to use—We’ve tried to keep things as simple as possible so you don’t have to go far to find what you’re looking for. Everything can be found right on our homepage. My #1 goal was to create a site that’s easy to use and offers the best, most helpful tools.

The new site is also part of a larger effort we’ve undertaken over the past year to provide better customer service and become better practitioners of our craft.  Behind the scenes, I hired executive coach Jim Mahan to help us put the framework in place for new processes and procedures, all with an eye on our customers and our culture. We’ve rolled out new presentation booklets, taken new photos of our team and expanded our presence on Our new website is an important extension of that work—it connects us directly to you!

Today, I’m proud to unveil and officially launch our new website. Whether you’re buying or selling, it’s full of resources that will get you started—from meeting our team to meeting the right property for you. I’m excited to show you the new site, help you navigate the market and introduce you to our agents. They’re a fun bunch of talented real estate professionals, and they’re ready to meet you, too.
